Chris D. Frew

Chris is the Founder and CEO of Workforce Genetics, LLC (WGx), and BioBuzz Media. He has been supporting companies in the regional life sciences industry with recruiting, marketing and event services for more fifteen years. Previously he was Vice President at Breezio, a leading innovator in cloud-based online communities, where he lead the development of the new Internship Network of Maryland (inMD) platform that was recently approved by Gov. Hogan to be implemented in the Winter of 2018. As Vice President of Tech USA’s Scientific Division Chris founded and ran a national staffing division operating at $23M annually when he left in 2015. Chris is the Founder and Executive Director of the BioBuzz Workforce Foundation, 501c3, a Maryland nonprofit whose mission for the past eight years has been to build a stronger, more connected biotech workforce in our region, and also serves as the Communications Committee Chair for the Human Resources BioScience Alliance (HRBA). Chris has more than a decade of experience successfully leading teams, projects and fostering engaged communities within the Life Science industry. He is a Maryland native and a graduate of Towson University.
