Abhirath (Abhi) Parikh has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, and has a patent related to stem cell therapy. He is a cell and gene therapy subject matter expert (SME) at Fluor guiding biomedical lab and sustainable cGMP manufacturing facility design by utilizing 20 years prior technical experience. Abhi has designed several prominent pharmaceutical industries from feasibility and concept until detailed engineering and start-up / CQV. Previously developed regenerative medicine products emerging from all three stem cell lineages as well as CAR-T and TCR hematological and solid cancer drugs. Abhi has prolific research experience during graduate studies resulting in numerous publications and a book chapter utilizing his core competencies in genetic engineering platforms, molecular biology, cell processing tools, biomaterials, cell signaling pathways, systems biology, media development and mathematical modeling. He has industrial experience in R&D of biotherapeutics (at Asterias/Lineage Therapeutics branched from Geron), as well as process development (at Lonza Group) and entire commercialization life cycle of cancer therapeutics (at Kite, Gilead).
