Chau and Lai were chosen from a highly competitive group of applicants from across the United States. The ISPE Foundation established the internship program with Gilead in 2020 to provide opportunities to underrepresented groups in the pharmaceutical industry. The interns will support several high-priority engineering and facilities projects and workstreams in Gilead’s Corporate Operations organization.

Overall, I see this internship as a great opportunity to expand my professional network and gain valuable experience that will help me in achieving my long-term career goals.
I'm extremely excited and grateful to start my career with such an amazing company that has talented people and strong core values. I'm looking forward to this new experience and learning from some of the best in the biopharmaceutical industry.
