2020 ISPE International Honor Awards Canceled

ISPE announced in June that we would not hold any in-person events for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year in consideration of the health and safety of our program attendees, and instead will conduct these as virtual events. In making this decision, the Leadership of ISPE assessed all ancillary programs associated with these events, specifically the ISPE International Honor Awards announced each year during the ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo Membership and Awards Breakfast.

As our Members and their organizations are putting maximum efforts towards combating the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Society has decided not to hold the ISPE International Honor Awards program in 2020.

This decision was not made lightly. The awards program is very near and dear to the Society, paying tribute to exceptional efforts put forth by our volunteers, Affiliates and Chapters, and Member companies. Still, we feel this is the right decision given the current situation.

The 2020 FOYA Category Winners will still be featured during the 2020 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo virtual program, and a 2020 FOYA Overall Winner will be announced. We will give these winners additional recognition deserved during the 2021 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo.

We look forward to resuming the ISPE International Honor Awards program in 2021, recognizing the amazing efforts of our Members who are driving the pharmaceutical industry forward.
