ISPE Student Chapter Formation Request

Before submitting this form, please make sure you have completed the following steps:

  1. Determine Level of Interest: At least 5 interested students.
  2. Choose Your Advisors: One Faculty Advisor and one Industry Advisor.
  3. Investigate College/University Requirements: Ensure you have met all institutional requirements for forming student organizations.
  4. Active ISPE Student Memberships: At least 5 students must have active ISPE Student Memberships. This includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, **Faculty Advisor, and Industry Advisor.
  5. Select a Steering Committee: up to 10 students total. This includes the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, *Faculty Advisor, and Industry Advisor.
  6. Complete Chapter Bylaws: Use the Bylaw Template and attach for approval from ISPE
  7. Elect Officers and Approve Bylaws: Hold an election meeting and approve the bylaws. 

**No active membership required for the Faculty and Industry Advisors. Once the student chapter is approved, they will become an Honorary Faculty member.

  • South Central Chapter includes: Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana
