On Tuesday, May 26, ISPE GAMP Community of Practice Benelux organized an event about “Data Integrity and Governance: Getting the most out of disruptive technologies” at Argenx (Ghent).
A day filled with insights, inspiration, and meaningful connections - highlighting just how critical data quality and governance are when leveraging technologies like AI.
- 🎤 A big thank you to our speakers for sharing their expertise:
- Martin Heitmann reminded us that success starts with understanding the context of data—and that true impact requires the combined strength of data science, process knowledge, and quality.
- Kelly Deputter and Omar Khawaja showed how to design trustworthy data pipelines—a key foundation for reliable insights.
- Mathias Van den Borre explored how to ensure AI delivers evidence-based, reliable results, introducing his qualification approach centered on the “Context of Use”—a powerful way to address challenges where traditional CSV approaches fall short.
- Carlo Candotti demonstrated through real-world examples that validation alone is not enough—data availability and integrity are essential for smooth and reliable operations.
- Saverio Mottana brought AI to life by illustrating how data becomes information—and information drives decisions, particularly through pattern recognition and scenario analysis.
- Dirk Wollaert closed the day by emphasizing the shift to a data-centric approach, showing how aligning data and process flows can significantly enhance data quality.
- All speakers shared their experiences and best practices during an interactive panel discussion to close the day.
🤝 Beyond the content, this event was about connecting knowledge and people—and it delivered on both.
A special thanks to Argenx for hosting us and making this event possible!
💬 We’re already looking forward to the next one…
Will we see you there?
