ISPE Philippines Affiliate Holds Cleaning Validation Seminar-Workshop

On 27 November 2012, ISPE Philippines Affiliate organised its year-end seminar-workshop, Cleaning Validation: Defining Acceptance Limits, at the Asian Institute of Management in Greenbelt, Makati City.

The 115 participants were composed of professionals from the regulatory agency, academic and corporate industries. Drawing from many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Prof Ma Rosario B Barangan, the President of ISPE Philippines Affiliate facilitated an insightful discussion. Discussion topics include Acceptance Limits based on Dose Criteria, Establishing Health Base Limits, Risk-based Assessment in Cleaning Validation, and Microbial Acceptance Limits.

In the afternoon, participants actively took part in a workshop facilitated by Mr Josue Felipe of EL Laboratories Inc on computing acceptance limits. The workshop was then followed by an interesting talk on Bioluminescence in Cleaning Validation presented by Brownstone Asia-Tech Inc.

The successful full day event ended on a light note as everyone enjoyed the games and prizes at the Masquerade Christmas Party.

1st Focus Group Discussion - Product Quality Review

The Affiliate held their first Focus Group Discussion at Valenzuela Hall, U.P College of Pharmacy, Taft Ave., Manila, on 24 June 2010. The discussion addressed issues in Product Quality Review.
