In her current role, Claudia Sigg is responsible for developing and implementing a global program to transform the quality culture of the Boehringer Ingelheim manufacturing network worldwide. Claudia has over 28 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance. During her career she had responsibilities for strategic and tactical planning and execution for quality in FDA regulated companies serving global markets. She was accountable for establishing and maintaining global quality processes, ensuring functional performance, driving continuous improvement, ensuring oversight and governance for global quality systems. Claudia has been part of many major capital investment projects for both modernizations of existing facilities as well as construction of new Greenfield sites. Prior to Boehringer Ingelheim, Claudia has held senior manufacturing and quality positions in Merck KGaA, ASTA Medica AG, and ESPE.
