Aarti Gidh has been at GlaxoSmithKline since September 2008 initially as Principal Scientist and now Investigator in the Biopharmaceutical Sciences group. Since joining GSK she has served in a variety of functions including the scientific lead for formulation, product development, and technology transfer of early and late stage drug products as well as the CMC development lead of an early stage product. She was also the technical lead for the syringe first intent selection. Earlier, she worked at Amgen, Inc. for 2.5 years, and has been the technical lead for the automatic visual inspection characterization/validation for all Biopharm syringe products and transitioned into the drug product team leader for a multi-billion dollar commercial product. She holds a MS and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Mississippi, and a BE degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Bombay, India.
