Eric Schnake is Engineering Director at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Covington, Georgia. He is currently responsible for engineering and design of Baxter’s new Plasma Protein Manufacturing Facility in Covington. Prior to joining Baxter, he was Director of Engineering at Grifols Therapeutics in Clayton, North Carolina, and has previously held project engineering positions with Talecris Biotherapeutics and Bayer Healthcare, in North Carolina and Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Michigan. He has worked extensively in the planning, design, construction, validation and startup of biologicals manufacturing facilities. Eric holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
