Daniel Rouse joined Novartis V&D in October 2007 as Engineering Project Manager for the Bulk facility. Rouse directed a cross-functional team in the design, construction and commissioning of the Bulk facility and more recently is responsible for managing all capital projects. Rouse has 23 years of project/process engineering experience mostly in aseptic filling and lyophilization of pharmaceutical/biotech products. Prior to joining Novartis, Rouse held various positions of increasing responsibility in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, most recently working for Sanofi Pasteur as Deputy Director Equipment Engineering and DSM Pharmaceuticals as Engineering Manager and Abbott Labs as Project Engineer. Rouse received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NC State and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina.
