Area Information
The Renaissance Harborplace Hotel enjoys a prime waterfront location, just moments from exciting
attractions and entertainment in Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
- Harborplace: Walk to the choices of Harborplace, a major
shopping destination set along the waterfront. Shop for souvenirs, and enjoy a variety of dining
choices.
- USS Constellation Museum: Built in 1854, the USS
Constellation was the last all-sail warship built by the U.S. Navy; it is also the only civil war era naval
vessel still afloat.
- Maryland Science Center: This is one of Baltimore’s top attractions
filled with the wonder of science. View planets and stars in the observatory, dig for dinosaur bones, or get
behind the driver’s wheel in a Nascar IMAX show.
- National Aquarium: Enjoy the sights of perhaps the greatest attraction
in Baltimore's celebrated Inner Harbor. The exhibits start small with samples of marine life from local
waters, but visitors soon find themselves eye-to-eye with sharks, rays, and other very large creatures. A
simulated rainforest ecosystem, and regularly scheduled dolphin shows round out the attractions.
- Water Taxi: Baltimore’s water transportation system is
the oldest of its kind in the country. With just one price for all-day service, you can hop on board to see a
diversity of attractions and neighborhoods.
- Top of the World Observation Level, World Trade Center:
Enjoy sweeping 29th floor views of the harbor and city from the world’s tallest pentagonal building, designed
by the renowned I.M. Pei.
